And I know I'm late to the Firefly argument train, but I'd like to note that if we're going to watch an episode of Firefly and Serenity anyway, why not give Angel his dues and finish our journey with him with a bad ass Van Helsing Victorian episode. I'm trying to see him in a Victorian trenchcoat. We wouldn't lose any Firefly gunslinging. We'd just lose Angel. Let's throw some Golden Mean into this Whedon cauldron.

Time is a Diamond
Alright, so I poured over the earlier posts making sure I wasn't going to rehash an idea. If this was discussed before, y'all can hate me forever and stuff. This was definitely my favorite episode of Angel I've seen. The reason for this adoration is due to the detective/time shift/redemption story concept. I thought Cordilia and the other British man (who kind of looks like the original blue power ranger) discovering the fates of the characters introduced to us through Angel's memory was a fantastic and well done plot development technique. It was neat being introduced to the bank robbing woman and just after her scene we see in the present that she was declared missing, and otherwise presumed dead. Instantly the audience is hit with a curve ball and questions start bouncing around their heads as to why her fate has ended in murder. Also, the bell hop photo and related article they found was pretty bad ass because the writer decided not to carry out that storyline in the flashbacks. I like just knowing that he was arrested and leaving it at that.

Man, Jason--my heart is with you on the "let's watch more Angel" thing, but my head is just pulling me in the other direction.
