I shall miss you...

I have always enjoyed being in classes like this - with fellow students who are passionate and vocal about their thoughts and ideas, willing to share even the most borderline-risque comments, and bringing a certain life to class discussions. Though I am usually the quiet one in the back that rarely pipes up in class, I have had many epiphany thoughts during this course (if I could remember them now, I'd share them - I'm sure they'll surface again later, as is usual for my scattered fruit-fly attention span). I learned so much from Dr. H, from Joss Whedon, from Joseph Harris, and from myself that I hardly recognize myself sometimes. *laughs*

Though challenging, in so very very many ways, I enjoyed this class - and my introduction into the Whedon-verse - immensely, and I shall miss it. My biggest regret is that I did not speak up and share more of my thoughts with you, my fellow classmates, and that the class is coming to an end so quickly. I'm sure I shall pass quickly from your thoughts, as new stresses and obligations fill the space of this class, but, as I'm sure is the case with many of us, the memory of the class as a whole and the unique and enlightening experiences we've had will live on and influence our perception of "literature" and our ways of writing in the future.

And so I say, I shall miss you - this class, our discussions, and all that we shared about Whedon. Happy end of semester to all and best of luck on finals.

That was very nice girl! I too enjoyed seeing how much people really cared about, and were knowledgeable about the shows, have a great end of your semester too!
