I was reading Joss Whedon's response to the new Buffy movie that is apparently being created without his approval/ involvement and was surprised by his gracious and humorous acceptance of the fact. Whedon shows a heck of a lot more integrity than the people who effectively "stole" his brain child from him, and I greatly respect him for it.
I agree, Jonathan! From what I've seen of Whedon interviews, I can see why his shows do so well, and why he is such a great writer. He's funny and charismatic in an (endearingly!) nerdy way. It's great that he has so many opportunities in the entertainment world to put all of those brains to good use!
