As promised, here are some sites/clips that might help you get acquainted with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the first series we'll discuss and write about in class.
1) Wikipedia's entry on the show is pretty good. You'll get spoiled if you read too much, but it's great for a quick introduction.

The Overview of Season 1 was great! Good introduction to the series without having to watch the first 12+ episodes. The same youtube link has more trailer options on the side for the following seasons too.
