"You know, carpe diem," Willow.
"Fish of the day?" Buffy.
Besides that though I find some bothersome plot breaks that seem like a poor excuse just to continue or take the plot in a way the writers want to go. Even in that example of the dialogue Willow said that Buffy had told Willow "carpe diem" once, which apparently by Willow's reaction this probably wasn't the case. This is just nit picking though and perhaps Buffy just suggested the concept of seizing the day. Another small moment was when Buffy's mother dropped the tea dish, there seemed nothing leading up to this other than a correlation to Buffy's dream. That may have just been acting or poor editing though.
A more important mistake happened during the fight scene that happens as Angel is about to leave. Why does Angel jump in the water after Buffy? If that box is assembled, which apparently it is at the end of the episode doesn't the Judge have the potential to snuff out human kind. This will of course not happen in a PG sitcom that has many seasons after and a movie at this point. And of course the good guys almost always win. That is what is missing from this show and a lot of other movies in the "scary" genre from me. I do not feel any sort of emotion of suspense from this show, which I think is where Buffy the Vampire slayer sort of loses me as a serious fan.
I watched the scene again on Netflix and saw that Buffy was "knocked out" although she was floating on her back.

Every time I see this episode, I wonder why Angel jumps in the water. Every time.
